To me it is an infusion of old world charm that is both classic and contemporary. The author has generated an innovative architecture that wasn’t flashy, and livable. It reminds me of Scarpa in the silence and havenly composition of details that are like little treasures among a cluttered room. The “retro” spiky armchair is the most eye catching.
These are really good examples of simplicity and creativity with materials. Agree about the quiet Scarpa reference…I am most interested in the landscaping elements.
